Description
Immerse yourself in West African culture for a few hours. Food Ambassador Kavachi will introduce you to the terminology, traditions, cooking methods, and rich flavors of these comfort foods as she shows you how to make the region's staple, fufu. The fufus will be paired with traditional soups - and you'll enjoy samples of each one. Then you'll have a chance to let your artistic talents shine as you use acrylic paints to paint a preprinted canvas.
For ages 18 & up. 21 or Older? You'll enjoy a glass of wine while you sample your soups.
The Art of Fufu: A Guide to the Culture and Flavors of a West African Tradition will be for sale during and after class.
