Join us on November 26, 2025 at Axel Towers, Copenhagen, for the final NPLG session of the year featuring a talk by one of Denmark’s most seasoned biotech leaders, followed by an intimate fireside discussion and networking dinner.

Hans T. Schambye, President and CEO of Galecto, will reflect on his experience of leading a biotech company through market headwinds, strategic crossroads, and public scrutiny. In a talk titled 'The Art of Crisis Jumping: Survival of Both Company and CEO', Hans will offer a candid view into navigating repeated clinical failures, boardroom misalignment, the valuation disconnect between Europe and the US, and the brutal realities of trading on Nasdaq.

With deep operational and strategic experience across IPOs, option deals, syndicate building, and transatlantic shareholder dynamics, Hans brings a timely and honest perspective on what it means to lead in biotech today. The talk will be followed by a fireside chat moderated by Nadine Maalouf (Managing Director Corporate Finance at Van Lanschot Kempen), where they will further explore Galecto’s BMS deal, navigating IPO syndicates and recruiting key US talent.
