Join us for an exclusive, immersive evening in partnership with Destilería Serrallés, Inc., the makers of Don Q Rum, as two of the most influential women in the rum industry take you inside the science and artistry of blending.
Senior Vice President of Operations Silvia Santiago and Master Blender Liza Cordero are redefining what leadership looks like in the spirits world. During this one night only experience, guests will explore the legacy, sustainability efforts, and craftsmanship behind one of the Caribbean’s most respected rum houses.
The evening begins with storytelling and a guided tasting of a rare, premium Don Q expression, highlighting the history of the distillery and the powerful role of female leadership in shaping its future.
From there, guests will step into the art and science of rum blending. Through a curated series of component tastings featuring rums of different ages and strengths, attendees will learn how master blenders build complexity, balance flavor, and create signature profiles. Silvia will demonstrate the blending techniques she practices daily, offering insight into barrel aging, maturation, and flavor development.
Then it is your turn.
Using beakers and test tubes, guests will craft their own custom rum blend under expert guidance, experimenting with different aged components to create a personalized expression.
