Sometimes living in NYC can make you miss people even while standing in a crowded room.
If you have been wanting a place to meet creative people without the pressure of networking culture, forced small talk, or feeling like you need to already know everyone, this is for you.
What to expect: a room full of artists, musicians, writers, performers, photographers, designers, and creative people from all over NYC who are genuinely open to connecting. Expect live music, open mic performances, poetry, conversation, laughter, drinks, and the kind of relaxed Brooklyn atmosphere where people actually talk to each other instead of standing around on their phones.
A lot of people come alone, so there is no pressure to arrive with a group or perform if you do not want to. Some people touch the mic. Some people just listen, draw, write, crochet, sip a drink, and meet new people throughout the night.
The room slowly opens up as the night goes on. Conversations start between strangers. Artists share work. People exchange Instagrams. Someone compliments your art. Someone invites you somewhere after. Someone remembers your name.
