About this Event
The Arctic has emerged as one of the most strategically contested regions of the 21st century, as climate change, resource competition and shifting geopolitical dynamics accelerate global interest in the region. While Greenland remains a key focal point, it is part of a broader Arctic landscape where sovereignty, security and governance are increasingly under strain. As the United States, Russia and other stakeholders recalibrate their Arctic strategies, critical questions arise about regional stability, international law, alliance commitments and the evolving security architecture of the region. This panel brings together leading experts to examine Arctic geopolitics, with particular attention to emerging security challenges and their implications for NATO members, Arctic states and Indigenous communities.
