About this Event
The presentation "The All-Time Italian American All-Star Major-League Baseball Team" argues that this team would win their share of championships against other all-time all-star Major League Baseball teams. This Italian American team would win not because their team would hit the most homeruns or their pitchers would strikeout the most batters but because they would win due to the inspiration and versatility of their players and their players would do the things needed to win games that go unnoticed. Also, this presentation on these Italian American baseball players reflects Italian American history in the United States.
Ticket price includes admission to the Museum's current exhibitions, "Totò and his Naples: An exhibition celebrating Italy's most prolific comedic actor in celebration of the 2,500th Anniversary of the founding of the city of Naples", "Sicilian Theater in Little Italy: The Return of the Manteo Puppets" and "Goodnight, Maria: A Tribute to all the women who worked tirelessly in the garment industry to live the American dream".
