About the Event:
The 8-Tracks are a Motown and soul tribute band from Brisbane, Queensland and made their Brisbane Jazz Club debut in 2019 to a sold-out Thursday night crowd.
Their unique all-female, 4-piece front line, together with their talented back line, bring audiences a classic act of all your favourite Motown and Soul classics, with some disco, jazz, funk, and sometimes even pop, thrown into the mix.
Featuring tracks from popular artists of the 50s, 60s and 70s from the Motown, Stax and Atlantic labels, The Brill Building and from blue-eyed soul artists, The 8 Tracks recreate the sound of the famous vocal groups of the era. Playing tribute to Aretha Franklin, Dusty Springfield, The Supremes, The Temptations, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, Kiki Dee and many more, the 8 Tracks always put on an energetic show.
