Seattle University's Marianas TaoTao Tano Club proudly presents the 31st Annual Fiesta, happening on May 26 from 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM!
About this Event

Fiesta is the Marianas TaoTao Tano Club’s legacy event to showcase the culture of the Mariana Islands, including Guam and Saipan! The theme of this year’s Fiesta is “Guma-ta Yan Hayi Hit,” loosely translated as “Home: Shaping Our Story.” We want to explore the idea of how home can be the place where one is able to grow, surrounded and supported by family. The event will consist of dinner, dances, a skit, and dinner performances!

Fiestas are common in the Mariana Islands as parties for family and friends to catch up and wind down, and this year is Marianas TaoTao Tano Club’s 31st annual Fiesta. Our members and volunteers are excited to display the culture of the Mariana Islands and the family values we as a club pride ourselves on. This year’s skit follows a young woman as she navigates her identity as a CHamoru (native to the Mariana Islands) and her family helping her out every step of the way. Dinner will be common fiesta foods, including red rice, BBQ meat, chicken kelaguen, and more!

Tickets are $15 from May 6 to May 18. Starting May 19, the ticket prices will be increased to $20, so get your tickets early! We can’t wait to see you there!
