The 'Cellar has been running extremely fun Equinox runs for some years now, and we all know that they do not disappoint. This year, we are very happy to announce that Baltimore's Seven Teller will be playing the 2026 Spring FREAK-Quinox, and we cannot wait!
BIO:
"Seven Teller is the art-rock brainchild of Baltimore musician and songwriter Sam Cochran, who started the project in 2020. A blend of post-punk, dance, and psych-rock music nourishes the band’s unique, immersive sound. The band’s roster includes Sam, Jager Soss (formerly of Baked Shrimp), Chris Ackerman, and Ben Nevius.
Seven Teller is expanding the norms by creating music that’s reminiscent of acts like LCD Soundsystem, Talking Heads, and CAN, while still performing live shows that showcase deep improvisation, referencing their roots in the jam scene and early influences like Phish and Lotus. Their devoted fanbase, called “Teller Family,” travels hours to concerts, so the band tries to make each night feel more spontaneous and special than the last.
Seven Teller has featured sit-ins from Cotter Ellis (Goose), Jake Brownstein (Eggy), and Eli Winderman (Dopapod). The band’s strongest markets are in the mid-Atlantic, but they’ve built a reputation in states as far as Colorado and Texas. Seven Teller has been releasing new music steadily in 2025 and expects a full-length release in early 2026."
