IN 2024 pictures of the Philly Tweed Ride were featured on The Harris Tweed Authority's social media. Which means our rideis internationally acclaimedThe Philly Tweed Ride is free to the public. All you need is a bicycle, some stylish clothing, and a picnic basket. We are a family-friendly, living history bicycle ride through Philadelphia, where cyclists are encouraged to dress in retro style & traditional 1920's attire. Any bicycle is acceptable, vintage or vintage style bicycles are encouraged. Some effort to recreate the spirit of a bygone era is always appreciated.
The Philly Tweed Ride will gather at the Rocky Stairs in front of Philadelphia Museum of Art at 10am and will roll out at 11am on Sunday November 9 and conclude at 4pm. We are a 10-mile ride, at a leisurely pace, with multiple stops for pictures, and a picnic. There is an after party where awards are given out for;
