Students will create their own floral painting using heavy textured acrylic paint, piping tips and pallets knives. Whether you are a beginner or have experience with piping flowers, textured paints, or pallet knife techniques, you will enjoy this amazing medium, plus you’ll leave with beautiful, dimensional artwork.WHEN

TECHNIQUES
• Piping flowers and leaves: Learn tips on creating beautiful, piped flowers made of acrylic paint.
• Design creation: Explore mixing acrylic colors with thick acrylic medium and paint to create 3D flowers, stems and leaves. Decorating wooden sugar skull board and designing flowers and decorations to go around it.
MATERIALS
Materials are provided for in-class use.
STUDENTS
This class is ideal for those 8 and older with some previous experience i. Any student under 13 should be accompanied by an adult. (The chaperoning adult does not need to purchase a ticket unless they are participating in the class.)
INSTRUCTOR
Teresa Baugh has lived in South Pittsburg for over 7 years now, previously she has lived in various parts of the country including Las Vegas. She enjoys trying her hand at various art projects and is self-taught in areas including wood working, epoxy resin, paint pouring and acrylic paints.
