CLASS HIGHLIGHTS
- Learn how to read a pattern
- Common stitches that are used in a wide variety of projects
- Begin in a friendly, no-pressure atmosphere
- Learn tips on picking types of yarn for projects
- Learn about yarn weight and needle sizing
MATERIALS
All supplies will be provided, including yarn, hooks, scissors, stitch markers and darning needles.
STUDENTS
This class is ideally suited for those 13 and older.
INSTRUCTOR
Pam Collier was born in Nottingham, England. She lived in Colorado for 28 years and moved to South Pittsburg 10 years ago. You would know her from her wonderful work at South Pittsburg Elementary School! Her granny taught her to crochet when she was a child. Fast forward 55 years, and she had forgotten most of her grannies teachings. She took a refresher class and was hooked! (pun intended) Her true joy is making hat to give away each year. Since 2020 she has made about 1,600 hats!
