About this Event
Whether you’re drawn to craft, liberation, sustainability, human connection, or simply the joy of making, Textile Biblioteca offers a safe space to repurpose, reimagine, and repair together. Snacks, coffee, and tea will be available at every gathering to keep us nourished.
7 Workshops: mending, sewing, patching, darning, repairing, natural dyeing, upcycling, etc.
3 Community Exchange day: let’s exchange knowledge, hobbies, thoughts, food, clothes, items, art, etc.
We gather on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations, with deep respect and gratitude for the lands and the peoples who continue to steward, teach, and care for this place.
Everyone is invited to learn, share, repair, create, heal, and build community care through textiles with us.
This series is made possible through the support of
Canada Service Corps,
Frog Hollow Youth Small Grants program, and our collaboration with
Kiwassa Neighbourhood House.
