The powerful presence of this band starts with a killer rhythm section. On drums, one of the very best around, Kostamos Yiacoumis (Bull y los Buffalos, Thunderosa, Deann Rene Band) from Athens, Greece. Talent, power, and perfection are his calling cards. “The Greek Beast”.
One of three New Yorkers in the band, “Palli” (Session bassist, Andy Macintrye Band), is a literal giant on bass. His playing is packed with finesse, yet rock solid. He is “The Tall Cool One”. Close your eyes and listen to the dead-ringer sounds of the great John Paul Jones!
The mega-talented producer/engineer/keyboardist, Ron D’Argenio (Miranda Lambert Band, John Gaar, Deann Rene’ Band), is at the forefront of the fine instrumentalists in the band. Also a product of New York, Ron is a master of all keyboards, killer harmonica player, and one of the few around that have mastered the theremin (Whole Lotta Love).
Lafayette, Louisiana’s outstanding guitarist, Tim Veillon (The Damn Torpedoes, Tumbling Dice) makes up half of the ultra-dynamic lead guitar duo in the band. Sharing the other half of the lead guitar chores is 55 year central Texan (originally from NYC) veteran guitarist, Mark Miller (Bubble Puppy, Zeus, Tumbling Dice, Strange Dayz). Mark doubles as business manager, musical director, & agent for the band as well.
On lead vocals is one of Austin‘s favorite female vocalists, Jen Hasseler. She recently won an award in central Texas as the best female tribute band vocalist in the area. Front woman extraordinaire with a powerful presence & an undeniable flair, the “Velvet Goddess” is a force to experience! Her passion & energy are the key driving components behind Tex Zep!
Together, this incredible group thrives on delivering the power, precision, & passion of the timeless music of Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham. We present the Led Zeppelin experience just as it was recorded in the studio but with an added visual experience unlike any other tribute act before us.
