Join us for a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Shawn Christian, associate professor and Chair of FIU's English department, on the role of mentorship, education, and networks of care in David Driskell's artistic legacy. Featuring Dr. Jordana Moore Saggese, Director of the Driskell Center at the University of Maryland; Christopher Norwood, civic and cultural strategist and Founder of Hampton Art Lovers; and Charles Humes, Jr., a Miami-based painter, muralist, and educator.
