Join us for a TEDxBuckheadAveYouth Youth Casting Call + Speaker Studio Session on Sunday, May 17 from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM at MODEx Studio.
This event is a group speaker training session that will be filmed for promotional purposes only. Content captured will be used to support the upcoming TEDxBuckheadAveYouth speaker application, event programming, and Speaker Studio Youth, a MODEx nonprofit speaker development program.
Participants will take part in a live, immersive training environment designed to simulate the TEDx experience. Through guided exercises and on-camera participation, they will step into a mock speaker setting—building confidence while contributing to a professionally produced content shoot.
This is not a confirmed speaker selection process and does not guarantee participation in TEDxBuckheadAveYouth. Participation is for promotional and training purposes only.
⏱ What to Expect
2:00 PM – 2:45 PM | Welcome + Overview
Introduction to TEDxBuckheadAveYouth and Speaker Studio Youth, along with a clear explanation of the session and content capture. Parents/guardians may ask questions and decide if their child will remain for the filmed portion.
3:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Speaker Studio Training + Content Capture
Participants will engage in a group training session that includes:
- Live performance and speaking exercises
- On-camera prompts and guided participation
- Mock TEDx-style moments, including stepping onto a stage setting with microphone
- Headshots, testimonials, and classroom-style training captured on camera
Additional Details
- Food and beverages will be provided
- Photography will be available for participants
- Parent/guardian consent is required for participation in the filmed session
This is an opportunity to experience a live speaker training environment, gain on-camera confidence, and be part of a professionally produced content session.
