For 15 years, TEDxAkron has been a home for big ideas, bold voices, and meaningful conversations rooted right here in our community. From the earliest salons to full-scale stages, TEDxAkron has helped spark dialogue, challenge assumptions, and spotlight the people and ideas shaping Northeast Ohio and beyond.

Now, we’re gathering to celebrate that legacy—and to look forward together.

15 Years Forward is a special anniversary celebration bringing past, present, and future into the same room. The afternoon will feature curated clips from past TEDxAkron talks, live musical performances (including Xposur, Angie Haze, and more!), speaker panels, local celebrity interviews, and moments of impact and reflection that honor where we’ve been and imagine where we’re going next.

Whether you’ve attended one TEDxAkron event or seven—or you’ve always meant to—this is your invitation to be part of the story.

Hosted by Journalist Shay Davis, this session brings together past and current TEDxAkron Organizers to pull back the curtain on how TEDx events really work—from speaker selection and theme development to what it takes to turn an idea into a talk that resonates far beyond the stage to excite a global audience.
