An exciting new addition to gravel, trail and XC riding in the east of Scotland. Dundee Thistle CC are hosting the very first edition of "Teckle Trails". Teckle - meaning great or fantastic. Those from the elsewhere in Scotland would say 'braw'.
The event is taking place on Sunday 17th November 2024 with riders departing from 1030 onwards. HQ is at the Muirhead Scout Hall just outside Dundee.

The event is entirely self supported across a 50km route with approximately 700m of elevation taking you through the stunning Perthshire and Angus countryside. A GPX file will be published a week in advance for riders to use and follow. The course is suitable for both gravel and XC bikes. Entrants are encouraged to ride the course at a relaxed pace and respect other trail users.
Registration for the event is at the hall where post ride food and refreshments will also be available.
Entry is £10 with the proceeds split between the club and a nominated charity.
Parking is very limited at the Scout Hall so please lift share or cycle to the start where possible. We have secured parking at the nearby Millenium Hall so please utilise this in the first instance. A small number of spaces are available on the road outside registration but be mindful of local residents.
