LG Thomson and Andrew Forrester met at art school in Dundee in 1981. This November, they will be reunited at Blackness Library where they will discuss LG's latest book, Bitter Fruit, a narrative memoir set in the 1980s in which Andrew makes several appearances.
Join LG and Andrew in conversation as they discuss the book and find out what it was like for Andrew to read about himself. LG is well known for the dark humour in her novels and memoirs, and this promises to be an entertaining and thought-provoking event.

About the Author
LG Thomson is the author of seven novels, including neo noir thriller, Boyle’s Law. Her latest books, Modernist Dreams Brutalist Nightmares and Bitter Fruit are darkly funny memoirs about growing up in Scotland in the 1970s and 1980s. LG’s writing has appeared in a wide range of literary publications including Wyldblood Magazine, Epoch Press, and the Urban Pigs Hunger Anthology. She lives in Ullapool and has strong ties to Dundee, having attended art school there and later returning to the city to work.
