About this Event
What you'll learn:
This session introduces students to modern technology careers through a relatable, semi‑casual delivery: real stories, interactive polls, and a hands‑on team challenge. It also helps students prepare for the future (2026→2030): how AI changes work, why digital safety matters, and which skills stay valuable across job titles:
Through hands-on session, students can:
- Explain what tech jobs are like day‑to‑day (not just coding).
- Name and describe key roles in a tech team and how they collaborate.
- Understand “future‑ready” skills for 2026+ (AI literacy, data thinking, safety, communication).
- Leave with clear next steps and a simple portfolio challenge to prove skills.
This workshop welcomes students from Year 9 to 11
No more than 20 students per class.
