About this Event
Join the RCP Garden team for a delightful evening of tea tasting and blending featuring ingredients grown in the Medicinal Garden. Led by our expert gardeners create a blend to take home or give as a festive gift!
The evening will include an introduction to a selection of beautifully handwritten family recipe books from the RCP collection that were used to share knowledge about treatments and cures within communities in England, 1500-1800.
Discover the properties of herbs featured in the recipe books many of which are grown in the RCP’s own Medicinal Garden. Taste a sample of teas created from these ingredients perfect for different times of the day – from perking you up in the morning to a soothing blend at the end of the day. Finally guided by our expert gardeners taste a combination of different flavours and create your very own tea blend to take home with you – or deliver as a unique Christmas, Hannukah or seasonal gift.
