Teaming with AI - Deep Dive
A one-of-its-kind, hands-on & practical course at the intersection of AI, Futures Thinking & Organisational Development (OD)
In a cacophony of AI chatter, how can we manage transformation?
If you are confused where to start and how to harness the power of “AI Genie”, we might have something for you.
Learn practical ways to harness AI as super smart member of your team, not merely as a tool.
Learn from the initiator of the white paper on Teaming with AI
A theoretical physicist by training, transformation consultant by practice, and co-author of the definitive book on service design, Markus has designed a practical course over last four years to help people and organisations learn how to harness AI as a team member to make transformation effective.
Course overview
AI is entering every part of work, but the real shift is not technical. It is social.The moment AI joins a group of people with shared goals, roles, and pressures, the dynamics of that team begin to change. Ways of working change. Expectations change. What “good work” looks like changes. And teams quickly discover that there is no stable playbook to follow.The course introduces the core ideas behind Teaming with AI by bringing you into that playing field directly. We will together go through a practical exploration of what changes when AI becomes part of a real team system - not as a tool in someone’s pocket, but as something influencing context, roles, coordination, and outcomes.You will start with a short, accessible overview: how teams move from simply being “AI-enabled” to genuinely rethinking their workflow; why efficiency is only one quadrant of the conversation;
and why impact emerges when AI literacy, domain expertise, and experimentation come together inside a team.Then we go hands-on. In small groups, you will collaborate with an AI tool on a concrete challenge. You will experience how teams shift from creating to curating, how assumptions surface faster, how decisions accelerate - and how overload, misalignment, or hidden fears can just as easily slow everything down. This practical exercise makes visible the tensions many teams face: the pressure to move faster, the need to learn deliberately, and the importance of psychological safety when introducing AI as a “new team member.”We close with a brief reflection and a simple next step: one small, low-risk experiment you can try with your own team or leadership group. This invites you into a shared practice of experimentation rather than isolated efforts by a few frontrunners - strengthening both team learning and organisational readiness.
What you will get
What you will get out of this session
- A grounded understanding of how AI changes teamwork - not in theory, but in the lived experience of a small challenge.
- A clearer view of where value actually emerges when teams combine domain insight, AI capability, and iterative learning.
- A safe way to begin — one practical experiment you can try next week with your own team or as a leader supporting others.
You will explore deeper questions of onboarding AI, evolving ways of working, and shaping the structures and strategies that help organisations learn and adapt faster within a changing environment or competitive landscape.
