Team RELAY Jigsaw Puzzle Contest at Norway House - June 2026

Build a team of 4 people and see how quickly you can complete TWO 500 piece puzzles. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishing teams. There will also be door prizes. All teams get to keep their competition puzzles.

HOW DOES IT WORK:

Each team will receive the same puzzles concealed in bags. No one will see the puzzles before the timer starts. After a countdown, teams will open their boxes and start puzzling. A competition judge will monitor teams and record finishing times. Once you have completed your puzzles, you may leave, or stay and work on another puzzle and enjoy a drink or two!

Here's where it gets interesting. Your team of 4 will divide up into two pairs to work on two different 500 piece puzzles. Every 5 minutes, a contest judge will call "Switch" and you will swap places with your other paired teammates and work on the other puzzle for the next 5 minutes. You will switch off with your teammates until both puzzles are completed. If one puzzle is completed before the other, teammates will switch off working on the remaining puzzle in 5 minute intervals. Only two people at a time will be working on any puzzle.

RULES:

• You may eat and drink while competing
• You may use box top holders and sorting trays
• You are allowed to bring extra lighting as long as it does not need to be plugged in to an outlet and does not interfere with the lighting for other competitors. These are great lights to use: https://amzn.to/3IAWd7S

4-8pm: Norway House has an open house happy hour throughout the whole event! Come enjoy deals on drinks and light Nordic meals

5-5:30: Check in

5:30-8pm: Speed puzzling contest starts - It's your time to shine!

Tables are regular height circle tables with one team per table.

$65 per team

There are no refunds, but if you are not able to make the event, we can arrange pick-up for your contest puzzle.
