Teaching Kitchens Networking Evening – Fall Get Together ! A First of its kind in BC!
Join Elaine Chu (Fraser Health, Director of Food Service Transformation), Anna Brisco (UBC Land and Food Systems Faculty and Dietitian) and Renée Chan (Registered Dietitian, Owner at The Skript Kitchen)
Thursday Oct 23 5:30-8pm happening at The Skript Kitchen, A Commissary & Event Space
We will prepare and enjoy a delicious fall menu together and learn more about colleagues and teaching kitchen programs in the Lower Mainland.
This is for you if you are:
- Already running a hands-on cooking and nutrition program (a teaching kitchen)
- Planning or wanting to run a hands-on food and nutrition program in the future
- Examples of who could attend (please expand on this list or omit it)
- Heart Health nutrition education facilitators
- Diabetes Educators incorporating food literacy groups
- Health Promotion Programming developers (Food Skills for Families)
- Private & Public practice dietitians/nutritionist with food literacy programming
- $10 per person early bird, $15 after Oct 3rd
- 32 people max
- Cooking Class & Dinner included
