This is the registration page for the Teacher Induction Program Professional Learning Session: The Art of Self Care: Create Your Own Resiliency.
Many people think self-care is a massage or an evening out with friends. What if self-care was instead, the moment by moment by moment decision of how you want to think, feel, and act? Let’s explore how self-care can foster your own resiliency in these incredibly difficult times. The time is now, more than ever to fill your own container so that we can work together to turn this world around. As teachers and leaders, we often give so much of our energy and creativity to our job, our students, our families and forget to take care of ourselves. So how about returning to the inspiration in our own hearts to reboot? What if self-care was more like coming home to you? Join this restorative and innovative workshop!
Bio:
Michelle Holdt is the Arts and Restorative Learning Coordinator for the San Mateo County Office of Education. She is a creative, heart-centered leader and an arts integration specialist with a strong commitment to leading an arts-rich life and advocating for a strong presence of the arts, social and emotional learning, and joyful schools available for ALL children, youth, and teachers.
Training will be done via Zoom.
