Happy to invite you for a unique, creative and fun journey through TEA + ART (Spring special theme: Flower Power) on May 10 from 18:30-21:00 in Lisart Studio at the heart of Amsterdam. We will start from a mindful and peaceful tea ceremony, then flow into a creative fluid art workshop. There will be more socialising time with soft drink and snacks (provided) after..
For the Tea Ceremony (‘Cha Dao’ 茶道), Leila will present Dong Ding Oolong and guide you through a tea meditation that cultivates the present moments, mindful process and fluid flow in a harmonious atmosphere that brings us together and improves our taste and all the senses, health and soul.
What is 'Fluid Art'? It can be defined as any form of abstract art that uses free-flowing fluid paint, often through freely 'pouring' layers of paint into the canva in any way you like. It's for everyone to enjoy, so no previous art experience is required.During this event you'll be able to:- Explore the perfect combination of how Tea Ceremony and Fluid Art in boosting creativity and bringing more present moments
- Learn to 'let go of perfection and results' when making fluid art and find joy, peace and meaning in the making process instead
- Dive into magic of fluid art and create your unique masterpiece "Flower Power" (guided) as a gift for yourself or others
- Discover the art of drinking tea mindfully as an everyday social interaction and the rich culture and traditions behind it
- Come up with the secrets of harmonious living and ways to slow down our busy lives and have some good rest
