The Cedar Ave Big Band has been renowned in the TC area for over 35 years. Originally under the musical direction of the Late Great Steve Devich, this 16-piece Kick Butt Big Band now has Mike Haynes at the helm. This Killer Ensemble of musicians and Vocalist Colleen Raye are a great combination. The many soloists in the band are outrageous! You’ll hear Hard Swinging tunes and challenging charts that will knock your socks off.

The Twin Cities Jazz Fest is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission of bringing communities together to enjoy and appreciate the art form of jazz and inspire new generations of youth. What started as a small one-day event in downtown Minneapolis 27 years ago has grown into one of the largest free civic jazz festivals in the upper Midwest.
