About this Event
Whatever you do: don't cross the line!
A disillusioned middle-aged couple discover a mysterious black hole in their living room. As the man finds himself on the other side of the hole, he confronts a mysterious, windowless underworld filled with incomprehensible rules and a motley crew of bizarre characters. Why can't he be called Harry? And why is there a red line on the ground that you must never cross?
Harry in Purgatory is a humorous and clever play; a modern take on purgatory with a hint of Alice in Wonderland and a dash of Groucho Marx, inviting the audience to ponder upon human agency and freedom of choice.
The play is followed by a talk-back with the playwright and the director. This is your opportunity to ask questions about the play and what inspired it.
