The time has come for our annual spring open house and we want YOU to join us!Our show this year is titled...
Tattoo Artistry: Tattoo Imagery Through Time
For this show, the artists have been working on a wide range of imagery that has inspired tattoos over hundreds of years! This imagery includes...swallows, ships, mermaids, dragons, astrological signs, butterflies, flowers, tigers, and much more! Suzie Cappa Art Center currently employs approximately 25 artists, all of whom have been working diligently on pieces for this show, so there is sure to be a wide variety of imagery, mediums, sizes, and price points available!
With that, we invite you to join us to experience a night out filled with incredible local artwork inspired the longstanding art of tattooing! Check out the details below!
Thursday, May 28th from 4 pm to 8 pm
Tattoo artists from local studios Die This Way Tattoo and Bad Cat Tattoo will be here doing flash tattoos* featuring imagery inspired by favorite themes of the artists working here.
bb’s Natural is going to have a featured dessert for purchase that captures the artistry of tattooing as well as the artistry of culinary talents
DJ Baked Bunz will be on music duty with some upbeat and fun tunes
Aqua and Acre will be sponsoring some great refreshments for all to enjoy
AND the Suzie Cappa Art Center artists will collectively have HUNDREDS of new pieces of art out! They’ve been working very hard to ensure the whole gallery will be reset with brand new works, all of which feature imagery ranging from a kitten in a teacup to a skull in a barren wasteland and everything in between!
Stop by and support local artists and the unique, beautiful, thoughtful, and downright wonderful art they’ve created for this show! Additionally, enjoy the talents and offerings of some fellow local businesses that we are so happy and excited to collaborate with! We promise you’ll enjoy yourself!
