About this Event
On this Taster Day, we will explore what it means to 'Practise God's Presence' and why this is so important for our discipleship and healing journey.
We will look at the ‘healing journey’ as a journey of being in a two-way relationship with God, where two-way communication is key. He is always present with us, and He invites us to be present to Him.
When it comes to us 'being present' to Him, many of us can feel that we have an on/off switch. Our attention takes us into many places; we wander off, we detach, keep busy, overthink, or the experience of pain in life and relationships can be our main focus. At times, we may even want to hide from Him and keep Him at arm's length, thinking He is very far away or just not interested.
God as Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit understands all this and invites us come to the Cross with everything and find that He is present, listening, attentive and never switched off towards us.
