Join us on Monday, April 6, for an International Food Pop‑Up Shop in Building H, Room 114. Show up anytime between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Big flavours, incredible value!
Hosted in one of our culinary labs, this walking-style food event invites you to sample a variety of savoury and sweet dishes from around the world. You’ll receive takeaway containers to gather food samples, allowing you to enjoy a variety of global dishes. You can enjoy your selections back at the office, in the student commons, or find a seat outside.
All dishes are freshly prepared by fourth‑year Bachelor of Culinary Arts and Food Science students.
Menu
- Garides (Shrimp) Saganaki from Greece
- Haliva - fried turnovers with a potato filling
- Kluski z makiem - hand-rolled pasta with poppy seed, sugar and lemon
- Malva Pudding - a classic South African treat
- Coxinha de Frango - Brazilian chicken croquettes
- Chicken Katsu with Gochujang sauce — crisped chicken served with a fermented chili sauce from Korea
- Chlebíčky - an open-faced sandwich featuring liverwurst, pickled cauliflower, and salami
- Arancini - warm risotto balls filled with cheese, served hot
- Shrimp fritters - minced shrimp in batter and cooked until golden brown
- Hawaiian Shaved ice
