In our intoxicating salon, a wealthy family, a clever wife, and the dangerously beguiling Tartuffe spiral together in a web of manipulation, seduction, and betrayal.Savage Wonder’s Equity reading transforms this classic satire into an intimate, electric night where the performers become both puppet and puppeteer, and deception dances in every shadow.Molière’s Tartuffe, adapted by veteran Richard Wilbur hypocrisy preys on innocence, lust disguises greed, and one man’s obsession with power tests the bounds of love and loyalty.
