Welcome to an evening for slowness, relaxation, exploration and surrender - through holding and tying.❊ What will happen?
We will be holding each other in presence with support of ropes. I will teach basic techniques from the Kinbaku tradition and we will practice a bit to get familiar with it.
There will be good time to go into the experience and surrender in the arms of your partner, allowing emotions to flow or relaxation to ease in. You will get the opportunity to try both roles and go deeper into one of them towards the end of the workshop.
I am passionate about soft intimacy and polarity and the main focus of the workshop is therefor on the connection and aliveness of the moment, rather than learning complex techniques.
❊ Why ropes?
Tantric Ropes is like an improvised dance of polarity between two people. It’s an opportunity to let go of any goal and surrender to what wants to happen in the connection. Any expression is welcome - from tenderness, playfulness, relaxation, firmness, sensuality and more.
❊ Who can join?
Anyone is welcome whether you have experience with ropes or not. Bring a friend, lover or partner.

❊ About the facilitator:
Cherie Ellen is a certified Gestalt Practitioner and a facilititor in the field of tantra and intimacy. Cherie’s passion is polarity, patterns in relationships and edges that make us step into ourselves more fully. She creates spaces for couples, women and groups to slow down intimacy to create a space for gentle relational healing. She has a background of studying with and supporting Embodied Intimacy for several years and has dedicated her work to embodiment and authentic connection.
She is also the co-organizer of ALIVE Tantra Festival in Copenhagen.
