🌙 Talking Circle: Dreams, Visions & Non-Ordinary States of Consciousness
📍 Pyle Adult Recreation Center, Payson Room, Tempe AZ
🗓️ Wednesday, October 22 | 6:00–7:30 PM
Dreams and visions have long been honored as portals of wisdom. Across cultures, non-ordinary states of consciousness are seen as ways the soul speaks, the ancestors guide, and the unseen world weaves into our lives. From a therapeutic perspective, altered states—whether in sleep, meditation, or ceremony—can reveal the subconscious, support healing, and help us access deeper truths.
💠 In this circle, we’ll reflect on:
• How dreams and visions are understood in Indigenous lifeways
• The healing role of symbolic imagery and altered states
• Practices for honoring messages from the subconscious and spirit realms
• How to ground insights from non-ordinary states into daily life
✨ What to Expect:
• A gentle practice to invite connection with inner vision
• Sharing circle with teachings from Indigenous and clinical lenses
• Reflections + simple tools to work with dreams and visions for healing
Bring a journal, an open heart, and (if you wish) a small sacred item for our altar space. This gathering is part of The Medicine Way’s community series—where we remember, dream, and walk together in beauty.
Free/donation based event.
