Event Description:
In this bilingual Spanish and English fireside chat, one of Spain’s most acclaimed poets and writers, Manuel Vilas will share more about his life and his acclaimed works including the recently published Ordesa, a poetic novel. He sits down with Hong Kong-based author Veronica Llorca-Smith to discuss how Ordesa is a meditation on loss and a powerful exploration of a person who is both extraordinary and utterly ordinary — at once singular and representing us all — who transforms a time of crisis into something beautiful and redemptive.
