‘Take Up Space’ is a reminder that yoga is for EVERYbody. Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or deepening an existing practice, this welcoming all-levels class invites you to move, breathe, and show up fully as yourself.
Together, we’ll create space to honor individuality, cultivate strength and ease, and celebrate the beauty of community — both on and off the mat.

About Kaya: Kaya's love for movement radiates with joy, purpose and gratitude and can be felt in each one of the classes that she leads. Originally from New Jersey, Kaya discovered the many benefits of yoga for her own personal practice and shortly after received her yoga certification. Since then she has dedicated herself to expanding her knowledge across numerous movement disciplines to better serve her students.
Her credentials include a B.S. in Kinesiology from Towson University, her 200-hour certification, ACSM Certified Personal Trainer and Mat Pilates instructor, along with specialized training in functional movement, prenatal yoga, biomechanics and so much more.
As the pioneer behind DC's first Yogalates classes, Kaya has guided thousands of students across the country, creating spaces where people feel seen, reconnect with their inner strength and glow from the inside, out.
