About this Event
🥋Tai Chi is a gentle Chinese martial art that blends slow flowing movements and mindful focus to improve balance, flexibility, and inner calm. From a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) perspective, it helps cultivate and circulate Qi (vital energy), supporting the health of the organs, improving digestion, circulation, and lung capacity, and calming the mind and nervous system. Regular practice can reduce stress, ease joint pain, enhance immunity, and promote overall vitality and longevity.
🧘Blaise Baillargeon has been instructing Tai Chi for over 15 years. In addition to Tai Chi, Blaise also instructs Lok Hup BA Fa, H Singi Chaun, Tai Chi Sword, Sabre and Chuan. During our classes Blaise will teach traditional Tai Chi 108 movements and will incorporate warm ups and Qi Gong 5 elements. Blaise is a practicing Manual Osteopathy in Durham Region.

☯︎ We do Tai Chi indoors during the winter at 513 Westney Road South, Ajax. Classes are Monday mornings at 9:30am and Thursday evenings at 7:30pm.
🅿️ 513 is a brown building on the south east side of Westney and Clements Road. You can turn at the light onto Clements Road and enter the parking from Clements or Westney. When you arrive drive to the back and go thru the black gate. We are in the back loading dock area. Park anywhere.
👟Wear comfortable loose clothing and bring indoor shoes.
💧Bring your own water bottle. Additional water will be available.
🪷Don't be shy! You don't need to know anything about Tai Chi to attend.
🌿Beginning January 2026 we will offer 12 class passes for $210. Mondays start January 12th - March 31 (excluding family day February 16). Thursdays start January 15th -March 26th. A 5 class passes is $90. Single class is $20. To buy multiple classes contact 416 828-0722 via text or call.
