About this Event
Are you wanting to purchase a table saw, but are intimidated by the use of it? Or do you own a table saw and are having trouble using it? There is a lot that goes into power tool setup and operation. Trying to use one without knowing how to properly and safely, can result in broken blades, kickback, inaccurate cuts, damaged wood, and a lot of confusion and frustration. This class will go over the table saw, their features and variables, setup, and how to use them to get the results you want. All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases. Each student should carefully consider their health and reaction to products around them when signing up for this or any of the Rockler woodworking classes..
