Das URBAyN ist ein Mixkonzept, welches alle Nachfragen verschiedener Klientel befriedigen soll. Sowohl für die umliegenden Mitarbeiter:innen, die Alt-Stralau als neuen Arbeitsstandort gewählt haben, als auch für unsere direkten Anwohner:innen und Freund:innen von der Insel. Als Kiezkantine wollen wir ein innovatives und frisches gastronomisches Angebot im Stralauer Kiez bedienen und durch die Kombination mit unserem kulturellen Angebot, die Anwohner:innenbedürfnisse nach kultureller Zerstreuung und nachbarschaftlichem Austausch befriedigen.

Auf insgesamt ca. 320 m² soll das URBAyN mit zwei verschiedenen Räumlichkeiten, den täglichen aber auch außergewöhnlichen Bedürfnissen von Anwohner:innen, Besucher:innen, Arbeitnehmer:innen und Eventgastgebern, gerecht werden.

Neben dem gastronomischen Angebot, versteht sich das URBAyN nicht nur als reiner Gastronomiebetrieb, sondern darüber hinaus auch als lokale Kulturplattform. Damit sticht das URBAyN mit seinem einzigartigen Cross-Over aus Kultur und Gastronomie, nicht nur im Stralauer-Kiez heraus. Durch sein speziell urbanes Design, in Kombination mit den angebotenen Nachmittagsworkshops, einem dauerhaften Galeriebetrieb – vornehmlich lokaler Künstler:innen, sowie den abendlichen Unterhaltungsformaten, schafft das URBAyN vor allem ein Gefühl von Kieztreffpunkt und Begegnungsstätte. Der direkt an die Terrasse angrenzende Kinderspielplatz, inklusive der Uferlage mit offenem Blick auf die Bucht, werden ihr jeweiliges zu diesem Hot-Spot-Flair beitragen.
