About this Event
Organized by the Liszt Institute the exciting performance of the actors of the Hungarian Móricz Zsigmond Theater takes place on December 6, 2025, at 6PM at the Hungarian House in New York.
About the performance
A holiday comedy with folk music interludes. Guest actors from Móricz Zsigmond Theater in Budapest dissect the most important questions in life in their absurd ways - about life, marriage and pálinka. Caricaturing the secrets and roots of Szekler-Hungarian culture, the eight individual anecdotes culminate to create true folk theater experience. But the point is this: Beer is not a drink! Pasta is not food! And a bear is not a toy!
The event is conducted in Hungarian!
