About this Event
Join the Syracuse Urban Food Forest Project and partners in planting 250 trees and 50 shrubs in the Corcoran Springdale Nature Trail on Saturday, September 28th from 10am-12pm. This is a hands-on opportunity to take part in creating an edible ecology. No experience necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to get your hands dirty! We will be planting many edible species such as pawpaw, native pecan, kingnut hickory, persimmon, butternut, bur oak, nannyberry and spicebush.
