Come celebrate a NEW year of Alamo City Swing Revival at our NEW location, NEW day and time! Big'z Burger Joint UTSA is our NEW Sunday night location, plenty of free parking and space to dance! Attendees are welcome to walk thru the main entrance and walk thru the dining area, or use the side entrance pathway to our private dance room, look out for signage for where to go!
The Swing Biscuits Band will be playing LIVE, with a special open jam session for guest musicians! If you like to show off your talent on the dance floor and playing on the stage this is your time to shine! Sign up will be available, so local musicians familiar with jazz tunes can bring their own instrument and sign up to play a song or two with the core band!

INTRO TO SWING
𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬: Thomas & Andrea
𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: This 6-count dance is where it all starts! This class is available every Monday night. East Coast 1 is perfect if you are new to swing dancing and want to begin your dance journey. This class will cover the main fundamentals of swing dancing such as basic posture, pulsing, weight transferring & core engagement.
FOUNDATIONS EXPANDED
𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬: Ale & Nick
𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:Perfect for those above beginner level, but not advanced. Continue your east coast swing journey past the introductory level, adding to what has already been learned in our beginners class. Class will focus on the next level of 6 count steps to confidently add to your partnered social dancing.
LINDY-HOP
𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫: Sheri & Jonathan
𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Once you have a firm understanding of the basics, begin to learn this more advanced 8-count dance and the famous swing-out! Lindy can be danced to slow or fast music, often blending several styling including 6-count and Charleston.
NOTE: While these classes are available each week, please know that it takes personal commitment to improve your dancing. This may include self-practice, group practices, or private lessons with instructors. Growth requires pushing your limits & testing your potential. Dance is no exception to this rule. Each of our instructors began at the exact same place as you did!
