SwapBook! began in 2011 with an intent to create an online-offline group for readers where they could swap books and talk about them. What began as an experiment with 6 friends is today a vibrant and thriving community spread across 5 major Indian cities with an overseas chapter in Amsterdam. We have over the years hosted a variety of events apart from swapping books, be it hosting a LitFest in Mumbai, heritage walks and food walks in addition to author interviews. The community promises to create and sustain a safe space for discussion and debate where thoughts of all colours and stripes are welcome, provided they are respectful, mature and decent.If this is your first time at a SwapBook! meet, come with a few books and a few more opinions that you'd like to swap with fellow readers. Coffee flows freely as do conversations and time goes by, until it's time to head back home. You'll return richer with new friends, new books and perhaps some new ideas too! Come join a storied book-club and show some love for books and reading.
