Swancon is very pleased to bring our 48th convention to the community in 2024. We are once again returning to The Rise in Maylands and we have an exciting event for you.
Our Guest of Honour is Juliet Marillier, a fantasy author with a focus on historical fantasy. Juliet has been the recipient of multiple Aurealis & Tin Duck awards.
Our Fan Guest of Honour is Pauli Kidd. Pauli is prolific author , game designer and a lover of RPG and wargaming. Pauli runs the Lace & Steel games review channel on YouTube which they won a Tin Duck for at the 2023 awards.
Swancon 48 is also excited to announce we are seeing the return of the console stream and family programming. We are also again holding a gold coin day for the first day of the convention for first time attendees.
