Get ready for four days of great music, delicious food, and vibrant community at the 8th Annual Swamp in the City. Held along the scenic Red Hook waterfront, this festival brings the best of Cajun and Creole culture to Brooklyn, featuring some of the most talented musicians from Louisiana and beyond, plus plenty of opportunities to dance, eat, and celebrate.
What to expect:
Live Music from top Cajun and Zydeco bands, including Jesse Lége & Bayou Brew, Bruce Daigrepont Cajun Band, Linzay Young & Joel Savoy, Le Winston Band, Alphonso Ardoin & the Zydeco Kingz, T'Monde, Jourdan Thibodeaux, Rose & the Bros and many more.
Dance Lessons & Jam Sessions—come early to learn the moves and join in the music-making with fellow festival-goers.
Cajun & Creole Food—think po'boys, gumbo, jambalaya, and all your Louisiana favorites, served up right on the water.
Saturday Cajun Invasion Pub Crawl through Red Hook’s best local bars—a fun way to explore the neighborhood and keep the party going.
