About this Event
This is our time. This is not just a screening. It is an opportunity to be seen. If we all gather outside the cinema wearing simple white masks with SWALLOW written on them in thick black marker, we are making a statement. We are many. And we are often silenced. Unable to talk. This image is very powerful. Because we don't just 'swallow' everything that is thown at us and deal with it, we are 'trapped birds' in a system that continuously breaks us. We need this to stop. And we need to join forces to start somewhere. We need photos like above to be in the press.
We need each other. We will gather at 14:00pm to create the photos. Then the screening starts at 15:30. Depending how many we are, there will be two screenings. And a Q&A. We shall leave the cinema at 17:30. Please allow 4 hours not to rush.
