About this Event
As we celebrate and reflect on 25 years of building vendor power in 2026, the Street Vendor Project is excited to launch our SVP25 Campaign, a fund dedicated to growing and sustaining our work on behalf of NYC’s street vendor community: the nearly 23,000 New Yorkers who power our smallest businesses and bring our city streets to life.
Please join us on April 1st for a kickoff event at MoFAD, currently hosting the incredible Street Food City exhibit. Enjoy food from our member vendors, wine, and help us unveil a brand new wall at the exhibit, highlighting this year's historic legislative wins.
From the Bronx to Bay Ridge, Jackson Heights to Sunset Park – street vendors feed our communities, create safer neighborhoods, and embody the vibrant and dynamic streetscapes that have always defined the character of New York City. And while the historic wins of the Street Vendor Reform Package offer expanded opportunities, the latest wave of immigration enforcement has made daily life much more precarious for our city’s street vendors, many of whom are new immigrants trying to make a living and build better lives for their families. SVP’s work has never been more important.
Thank you for your support. We look forward to celebrating with you!
