About this Event
Sutton Coldfield Town Hall's Literary Arts Festival is a free weekend for everyone - whether you're a bookworm, a budding writer, a curious mind or looking for something wonderful to do.
On 12th and 13th September 2026, our heritage venue will come alive with the voices of 20+ poets, authors, performers and creatives - many of them local to the West Midlands - for a weekend of talks, workshops, readings and live performances that celebrates words, creativity and community in all its forms.

- Author talks and in-conversation events
- Creative writing workshops for all levels
- Poetry readings and live performances
- Pop-up typewriter poetry - get your own poem written on the spot
- Screen printing and creative drop-in activities for all the family
- A spectacular Saturday Evening Show featuring live music, bhangra dancing and a jazz quintet

The Saturday Evening Show is ticketed at £10 per adult and £5 for under 16s.
