About this Event
After a year of exploring and creating in response to the nature in the park, we will be pulling together ideas to zoom out and think about how to record all that is contained within this space.
In this workshop artists Halima & Izzy will invite you to explore the paths that are laid out to roam within the park and the boundaries that have been designed to direct our movement across the space. We will celebrate the flexibility our sight gives - allowing us to roam, explore and transport ourselves across a large space even from a fixed position.
The workshop will guide you across various processes, including playful collaborative work to discover new ways to layer multiple perspectives and viewpoints in drawing.
For the second half of the workshop we will gather inside at Grove House Tavern nearby for time to reflect and develop ideas. Participants will be able to create a personal response to their ideas within a book of drawings to take away.
All abilities are welcome as this workshop is focused on experimentation and play. You will finish the workshop with a collection of images and ideas on how to approach making and researching towards abstraction.

Materials and Cost
This workshop is Pay What You Can with a recommended price of £7 to cover materials and planning. The route is accessible and our resource sheet will include information on where to find various facilities.
A range of materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own as well.
Please note: If you are booking tickets for multipe particpants these should be booked seperatley to ensure we are expecting the correct number of attendees.
About the day...
The session will start promptly at 11:30 outside outhouse gallery, there will be an opportunity to see the new exhibition when the gallery opens. If you would like a coffee beforehand, NoNo cafe is nearby.
As the event is outside it will be weather dependent but we will notify you of any changes.
