Trafford Thrive in Education are delivering a free workshop thinking about what parents and carers can do to support their young person to make the best transition from primary to secondary school.

Where and when are the sessions?
We are holding both an online and a face-to-face version of the workshop. Please note the content of these workshops will be the same so you only need to attend one.
Tuesday 6th August 3.30-5pm: Online via MS Teams
Tuesday 13th August 1-2.30pm: Stretford Grammar School, M32 8JB
Who is this course for?
This workshop is designed to support parents and carers to support your young person. If you're concerned that your child might find the transition from primary to secondary school difficult, this workshop will be a space to help you prepare for that and offer tools you can use to navigate this change with your family. Places are available for parents and carers with children who will be attending one of the following secondary schools from September 2024:

Who are Trafford Thrive in Education?
Trafford Thrive in Education is a part of Trafford CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services). There are 3 main areas of our work - supporting a Whole School Approach to mental health and emotional wellbeing, providing advice and consultation to school staff, and delivering evidence-based interventions for young people and their families.
